Have launched TomGurney.org which offers all of my London web developer skills, and will also be updated with new work as and when it's finished. The website will be responsive and makes use of my talents in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, native Javascript, SEO, Photoshop, and so on...
Having settled into life in Greenwich, i anticipate being in London for many years yet and will be concentrating on adding new skills asap, with the likes of Node.js and Backbone amongst my targets for the next few years.
Having been involved in web design and development for well over 10 years i have a wealth of experience in a multitude of different roles and different companies. I decided to switch to contract work in order to try out new types of work frequently so that i remain motivated and up to date.
London is a fantastic place for web development at the moment and has a huge number of web-related firms, both agencies and corporate companies who are close to the bleeding edge of current web development practices.
